Chris Brown With “Bruised and Beaten” Jean Paul Gaultier

Chris Brown, pick up the phone. It’s irony calling. On January 21st, Gaultier was in Paris for his boxing theme menswear fashion show so, his “bruised” appearance is all makeup.

However, doesn’t this remind you of Rihanna’s picture after she was beaten? What is failed to be understood is why people say, ‘Chris has still got it!’, when no one questions his talent but his qualities as a role model. A year hasn’t even passed and he’s posing in a picture like this?

Incomprehensible! And it’s not over-sensitivity talking. It’s blatant shamelessness!

Asian Designers Are Like Dreams

You don’t think they exist but they do. It could also be that we were overwhelmed and ecstatic about “Rosestudio” GUO Pei High Class Fashion Show 2010. Guo Pei’s sense of design and fashion is revolutionary and even though we know the show happened sometime ago, we have to express our utmost respect and appreciation for its originality and delicate beauty. If we were artists, we would wear these to every performance.

It’s like Leonardo da Vinci was reincarnated as Guo Pei and decided to try his hand at being a designer.

The third dress is our favourite. Now we’re just thinking about how to make them for ourselves!

Blood, Sweat and Dirt On The Runway

DSquared2’s Fall/Winter Men’s collection debuted in Milan inspired by Lady Gaga no doubt

Which is your favourite fox? 1 or 2. hee hee!

3 is irrelevant

We pick 2. He’s wrapped like a surprise

The Future Of The Red Carpet Dress?

Makes you think where designers find the inspiration for amazing dresses like these. In actuality, these were part of Viktor and Rolf’s Spring 2010 runway. Personally, we like the delicate layering and strong lines. It gives an overall picture of innovation and individuality to each piece.

It’s like Alice In Wonderland meets Edward Scissorhands!

Prada Taking An Artistic Approach

Miuccia Prada is collaborating with Chinese artist Yang Fudong to use some artistic elements with the launch of her new line. The name of the film is First Spring and was presented in Milan for the fall winter 2010 men’s fashion week.

Paris Hilton Spring Shoes 2010

null

Zebra, Rejected Bridesmaid rouge (we refer to the scrunchie) and Gold Flamé, we are not loving so much but the floral and green/yellow detailed numbers of Paris Hilton’s are really very nice! We wouldn’t mind a pair ourselves!

She is a lot more than her cinematic debut of glow in the dark fun made her out to be.

All the shoes, however have nice lines, we just wish there was more of a selection.

The heels are priced at around $89 US and will be sold at department stores and retail outlets in America.

Finding A Replacement For Gisele

Creative director of Loewe, Stuart Vevers has chosen someone new to represent the spring/summer 2010 collection. Last year, as you might know, Gisele was his muse.

Seeing that she is not available this year though, Daria Webowy was chosen for his collection that ”has a youthful, almost athletic feel, Daria felt right for this. In the summer, Daria had been on a sailing trip across the Atlantic and looked super healthy and glowing. She perfectly represents the Loewe woman; sexy and strong – we’ve been drawn to strong women like Daria since I started at Loewe. The styling is pulled together and elegant – I wanted to reference the roots of the house – but on a cool, young woman like Daria, I hope feels relevant for today.”

We like her face. It’s kind of Raquel Welch meets Sophia Loren. We have also seen other pictures of her showing a great range of her versatility and poise.

Where The Wild Shoes Are

This is a sneak peek at Louise Goldin‘s first shoe collection for Topshop available in….February. Triste, we know. The to-die-for stiletto-esque shoes designed with spikes in mini and crystals come in cream, noir and rose. As replicas from her spring/summer 2010 collection, it’s not a wonder that they are a little chèr at £150 ($250 $300 $275?)

But they’re soo pretty!

Heidi Klum Launches Two Maternity Lines

After giving birth to 4 children, we would say it’s about time! The lines are coming out soon to as the lines will be in stores as soon as February 12.

Exciting!
Heidi’s lines reflect fashions she wore during her pregnancies and are called Lavish and Loved. “I chose to call my collection for A Pea in the Pod Lavish because there is no grander name to express everything you want to give yourself and the child growing within you,” she gushed. “For Motherhood Maternity, Loved is a celebration of new life and the love around you and your baby. I experienced fashion challenges during my four pregnancies and combined my knowledge of what works in terms of style, comfort and practicality to create these lines. They are all about making you feel beautiful; being pregnant shouldn’t stop you from being fashionable and feeling great about your changing body. It’s an exciting journey.”

That sounds beautiful. Oscarrr Oscarr!!

Lavish By Heidi Klum, a 14 piece collection will be sold at A Pea in the Pod and Loved By Heidi Klum at Motherhood Maternity, a 15-piece collection.

Rebecca Matthias, president and CEO of A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity was ecstatic. “Heidi brings with her a tremendous amount of creative energy. She lives and breathes fashion. Heidi’s experience and stunning beauty add a new dimension to our brands. We were thrilled to have Heidi as a client through each of her beautiful pregnancies, so we are especially excited to continue our relationship with her in this design collaboration.”

As a supermodel with a decade of experience on the runway and seven seasons on Project Catwalk, we think she probably would have some nice mommy chic.
